Two Weeks Out

I've been gathering all the "stuff" that I used for the prior surgery, plus some new items. I'm getting ready to hunker down in the living room for the non-weight bearing period.  Last time, I bought an inflatable mattress that was a piece of junk. I pondered just trying to sleep in a recliner that is quite comfortable. I decided it probably won't do, though, so I bought a new piece of junk mattress. I hope it isn't quite that bad! One new twist this time around - I have a very active, fairly large dog now. I had an inactive large dog before. In early October, though, I was taking a simple step in the hallway, turning my right foot a bit at the same time. I immediately felt a stabbing, stinging pain in my right foot...to the point that I yelled out a bit. It also felt like something inside (tendon, ligament) s...
