Final Doc Visit? - Two Months Post Op
The days have been pretty similar as of late. I'm still wearing Hokas everywhere, but the boot hasn't returned. Each day the limp seems just slightly less pronounced.
I returned to the doc at about two months post op. He gave it a once over, said I could do some physical therapy if I wanted, but it was up to me. He said as long as I kept progressing I would be good to go, but if things turn for the worse to let him know. He told me to finish off the Meloxicam and let him know if I needed one more round of it. I asked if I could exercise, and he said light bike or elliptical would be okay, but don't stress it too much. He said that the sign that I would be okay to start building up more strenuous exercise would be when the limp disappeared. It hasn't quite disappeared yet.
The progress with this is very slow. There aren't really miraculous days where things change in an instant. You just make slow changes here and there, and eventually it seems to work out.
The doc told me I wouldn't need to come back unless things got worse. I seem to be on my own now!
